These are stand alone workshops or you can attend the series. In the Newark, Ohio area we will meet in -person. We utilize outdoor spaces in the summer, using movement, activities, and challenges (individual and team).

Attending a group workshop for boys in middle and high school fosters a sense of community and belonging. Participants learn essential skills in communication, teamwork, and emotional regulation, all within a supportive environment. Workshops often address common challenges such as peer pressure, self-esteem, and emotion regulation techniques using movement, fun, and activities, providing practical tools for personal growth. In a group setting, boys can share, learn, and grow together effectively.

These are not therapy sessions, these are workshops fostering community and self-growth.

Sports Are Not Just About Athletic Talent, Winning Is Also A Mindset!

Our Sports Confidence Workshops for teen boys focus on building self-esteem and resilience. Being a confident athlete is not about always winning; you also must have the correct mindset to push through those painful losses! These workshops provide a supportive environment where participants of all sports learn essential skills and develop a positive mindset. Through interactive sessions, teens explore topics such as teamwork, goal setting, and overcoming challenges. The aim is to empower them to recognize their strengths and boost their confidence both on and off the field, fostering personal growth and a healthy attitude toward competition.

How Sports Coaching Works

Clients I work with are amateur athletes aged 13-18. 

This is a crucial time period in their development as an athlete and as a person. It is also the time period where the pressures and adversities can pile up, but often the athlete lacks the tools to effectively cope. 

This can be frustrating because all the hard work can go out the window if they can’t get their head in the right place. It also can be costly to their long term goals — as one or two poor months, let alone a poor season, can be hard to bounce back from.

I take a lot of pride in the impact Ihave with these amateur athletes because every athlete was once in these exact shoes.

As a soccer athlete I am are able to relate, understand, and effectively guide them through this crucial time period.

Instead of focusing all of our energy on what we want to achieve, we need to prioritize who we want to be and how we want to show up. By ‘slowing down’ and gaining clarity on your inner world, you get grounded, centered, and ready to tackle the outer world.

This new approach is all about taking control and being Mindset First.

This is the approach I use when coaching professional athletes to show up at their best day-in and day-out.
