If so, I am glad you are here! My name is Julie Johnson-Zigan, LPCC-S, LMHC-QS, and LPC PCS,  and I work side-by-side with healing professionals providing solid tools and focused support.

When you work with me, plan on getting things done! I like to roll up my sleeves with my coaching clients and dive right in. If you are a therapist just starting out and are eager to grow your practice and clients, or if you are a seasoned clinician and would like to have fewer client hours, work smarter and not harder, or you would like to supplement your practice with a leveraged or passive income stream, or transition to a busy Telehealth practice, then I look forward to working with you.

Now in my 50s, Johnson Counseling and Coaching is my 3rd business. I am also a national speaker for corporations, responder for critical incidents, and corporate leadership events.  As an expert in training employees for stress reduction and work-life balance, using wellness strategies to reduce time off work during times of crisis, building routine self-care, and tapping into resiliency is a priority.

Experienced in creating transition or extra income for therapists from agency to self-employment opportunities, expanding into group practices, starting a private practice, refining your website content, hiring employees, or cultivating your current practice and implementing new staff policies, improving client and agency procedures, structuring IOP’s, creating therapy groups, workshops, and retreats, teaming up with you for the creative and implementation process is my specialty.

I provide support for solo and group owners, and if you are a therapist or group owner that would like to have assistance in payroll, Justin Johnson is the go-to! Trained by Johnson Counseling Group since 2016, he is your payroll wiz. I will assist you with legal assistance in contracts for employees and 1099 contract employees utilizing Steve Zigan, a retired magistrate and contract consultant.

Having extensive knowledge from building suboxone clinics and IOPs for state approval from the ground up, we have you covered!

Interns and practicing therapists

Are you looking for support and supervision? Are you looking to be licensed in Florida, Ohio, or South Carolina?  I am a licensed supervisor in all three and will assist, support, and foster your growth in your journey. I have worked with interns for years from many Master’s in Counseling programs including where I taught career, addictions, and CCS at Northwestern University, and am a site supervisor for ongoing interns. Here at JC&C, you are provided support throughout your practicum and internship with the prospect of hire at the end of your journey.
